Train on the GA4 Demo Account

T

Find demo accounts here and select which one you want to add to your account, you can delete it later just like any other acount.

Using Google Analytics 4 (GA4) demo accounts lets you practice using real business data. It’s beneficial if your property lacks enough data. The demo offers an excellent opportunity to familiarize yourself with GA4’s features, tools, and reports.

What is the Demo Account? The demo account is a functional GA4 account available to all Google users. It hosts two GA4 properties, filled with data from the Google Merchandise store and the Flood-It! app. This data gives you genuine insights into traffic sources, user behaviors, and transactions.

Accessing the Demo Account:

  1. Add either or both of the demo accounts Google Merchandise store and or Flood-It! app & web data
  2. Sign in to your Google account or create one if needed.
  3. Google will then either add the demo to your existing GA4 account or establish a new one with the demo added.

Limitations of the Demo Account:

  • Users only have the “view” role, limiting actions mainly to data observation.
  • GA4 demo properties lack features like reports, exploration, and export capabilities.
  • It doesn’t display the device ID dimensions.
  • The demo doesn’t work with the analytics reporting API.

If you decide you don’t want the demo account anymore, you can remove it like any other account.

  • I am trying to find a simple, free tree structure for an internal system that is already coded and running. I need to do regresion testing and I want a way to make sure I have hit every page on the site. I thought this software would do this. I installed the latest verson (1.1.1 – just installed this morning). When I try to run this, I get the following error – Status Code 200; Parse Failure. I have not been able to find more information on this error and how to make a correction. Would you please help?
